IsoQure® TBzTD (Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide) is an accelerator replacing thiurams such as TMTD where the presence of nitrosamines is of concern.
IsoQure® TBzTD is used as a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator, especially in NR, SBR, NBR, and other rubber compounds. Can also be used as a retarder in the vulcanization of CR.
According to published literature, TBzTD does not develop carcinogenic nitrosamines. IsoQure® TBzTD provides with easier processing and longer scorch time than TMTD.
