Isogran^® 25CC-80 is an active grade of Zinc oxide with high surface area. This unique product is made of an active zinc oxide on an inert calcium carbonate core. The active zinc oxide coat is aprox. 55-60% of the total weight, the inert calcium carbonate approx. 40-45% of the total weight. Due to its elastomer bound form the absorption of humidity from the atmosphere during storage is prevented. In comparison to extrusion compounds using zinc oxide in powder form, those with Isogran^® 25CC-80 provide smoother profiles. This is due
to the more homogeneous dispersion of Isogran^® 25CC-80.

Isogran^® 25CC-80 offers curing characteristics very similar to zinc oxide white seal. In many cases a reduction of dosage is possible. Due to its high activity, Isogran^® 25CC-80 allows to formulate compounds with considerable lower dosages of zinc oxide and heavy metals.
