Zinc-dimethyl-dithiocarbamate with elastomer binder and dispersing agents.
Isogran® ZDMC-80 causes very rapid vulcanization of natural and synthetic rubbers, e.g. SBR, NBR and EPDM. Isogran® ZDMC-80 has a very short scorch-time. The addition of Thiuram and Thiazole accelerators can retard the start of the vulcanization and, at the same time, increase processing safety. Isogran® ZDMC-80 recieves an additional activation from basic accelerators. Isogran® ZDMC-80 is also used in small amounts for secondary acceleration and activation of mixes which are cured with Mercapto or Thiuram accelerators.
Isogran® ZDMC-80 gives very good tensile and resilience properties. For improving the resistance to ageing especially of NR and IR it is recommended to add antioxidants.
