IsoQure^® Sandfix is used as binder for single-size and multi-size dry sands and sets without addition of water. Even small amounts of about 2 to 4% of IsoQure^® Sandfix are sufficient for good stability improvements.

It is also possible to process IsoQure^® Sandfix at relatively low temperatures. Curing takes place with atmospheric oxygen alone. During setting, the mortar made up with IsoQure^® Sandfix must not come into contact with water, but soluble mortars can be mixed with pigments such as iron oxide to circumvent this effect.

Because of its fluid consistency IsoQure^® Sandfix is the ideal building material for an environmentally friendly landscaping process. The main advantage of using IsoQure^® Sandfix to stabilize pathways and sandy places is that the areas are not sealed. Although it prevents the growth of weeds, IsoQure^® Sandfix is permeable to water and oxygen. This means that the natural soil underneath does not die but continues to stay biologically active.
