Application
Isodur E 15 is a polyisocyanate prepolymer crosslinker designed for flexible coatings and sealing compounds.
It can be used in two-component systems for high-build, crack-bridging coatings on concrete or combined with latent hardeners for one-component applications such as flexible roof coatings.
Isodur E 15 provides excellent elasticity and weather resistance.
Usage Information
Isodur E 15 is compatible with esters such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, and 1-methoxypropylacetate-2, as well as aromatic hydrocarbons like toluene or xylene. However, alcohols must not be used as they react with the prepolymer. PU-grade solvents with water content below 0.05% should be used.
Prolonged storage of low-binder-content solutions may result in turbidity or sedimentation.
Handling, Storage, and Packaging
The processing and use of Isodur E 15 require adequate technical and professional knowledge. Please consult the safety data sheet and observe local safety regulations.Isodur E 15 must be stored in its sealed original containers at temperatures between 10 and 30°C, protected from moisture, heat, and foreign materials.
If stored correctly, it maintains stability for at least six months. Storage at high temperatures may lead to increased viscosity.
Available pack sizes for Isodur E 15:
180 kg drums
50 kg drums
0.75 kg aluminium bottles
0.75 kg plastic bottles
