Isopan 600
Isocyanate-crosslinkable polyurethane rubber for the manufacture of rubber goods in the upper hardness range with excellent resistance to abrasion, swelling and weathering, as well as good elasticity.
Material Definition
Composition: Polyaddition product made from toluylene diisocyanate and polyester
Appearance: Light-colored and partly transparent, yellowish blocks with air inclusions
Density (20 °C): Approx. 1.2 g/cm3
Mooney viscosity (ML 1+4, 100 °C): 20–32

Application
Isopan 600 is used as an isocyanate-crosslinkable polyurethane rubber for molded goods in the upper hardness range, offering excellent abrasion, swelling and weathering resistance with good elasticity.
Processing
Isopan 600 compounds should be mixed on a well cooled open mill using stearic acid to avoid sticking.
Compounds containing IsoQure TT should be vulcanized within 24 hours after mixing.
Molded articles are mainly processed by compression molding.
Extrudates can be vulcanized in hot air under pressure.
