Use
Mode of action: Isogran Hexa-80 is a basic accelerator giving slow vulcanization.
Isogran Hexa-80 is also used as a formaldehyde donor for the bonding system consisting of resorcinol, formaldehyde and silica. In conjunction with Isogran Resorcinol-80 it results in a resorcinol formaldehyde resin, responsible for the bonding of rubber to textile and steel cords. This system is suitable for bonding all types of rubber to reinforcing materials, e.g. fabric, glass fibers and metals (e.g. steel-cords).
Processing: The pre-dispersion of hexamethylene tetra amine in an elastomer binder allows quick absorption and excellent dispersion in the rubber therefore optimum activity of the hexa is assured. The hygroscopic nature of hexa is suppressed due to the encapsulation of the active substance in an elastomer.

Isogran Hexa-80 for bonding systems 1.3-1.6 phr
As primary accelerator 0.7 phr
As secondary accelerator 0.2 phr
