Use
Mode of action: Isogran® S-80 is a curing agent for all natural and synthetic rubbers, which require a quick incorporation in the mix and an excellent dispersion of the sulphur. Due to the homogeneous dispersion in the rubber the occurrence of localized over-cured zones is avoided, which ensures an improved resistance against ageing and dynamic fatigue. The good dispersion of sulphur is of particular advantage in soft compounds, in which a problem-free distribution of the sulphur is often very hard to achieve.
Processing: The thermoplastic, fully compatible polymer binder which is combined with special dispersing agents allows quick absorption and excellent dispersion in the polymer. In this way, optimal activity of the effective substance assured.
Dosage: The dosage is the same as with non-elastomer-bound sulphur. A higher dosage according to the sulphur content is, due to the better dispersion, usually not necessary.
Application: Soft compounds: light-colored compounds, which must be free of sulphur stains, rubber articles which have to withstand dynamic stress.
Packing: 25 kg cartons with PE inner bag
Storage stability: In original closed containers under cool and dry conditions max. 2 years.
Handling: Consult Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for additional handling information on Isogran® S-80.
