IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC
Chemical name: Zinc oxide coated nano calcium carbonate
CAS Number: Mixture (zinc oxide: 1314-13-2; calcium carbonate: 471-34-1)
EINECS Number: Mixture (zinc oxide: 215-222-5; calcium carbonate: 207-439-9)
IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC is an active composite of zinc oxide coated on a nano calcium carbonate core, combining high surface area (approx. 30 m²/g) with small particle size. It is highly reactive with thiazole-based accelerators (e.g. MBT, MBTS) and thiuram accelerators (e.g. TMTD), providing efficient activation in rubber compounding.
Material Definition

The zinc oxide content is about 37–43 % of the total product weight; the rest is inert nano calcium carbonate.
Application
IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC is designed for dynamic and transparent rubber applications where high activity and excellent dispersion are required. It is suitable for both natural and synthetic rubber and is particularly recommended for:In combination with thiazole and thiuram accelerators, IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC can provide improved abrasion resistance, tensile strength and elongation at break; improvements of more than 10 % are achievable depending on the compound formulation.
The high specific surface area also makes the product suitable for transparent rubber goods and supports good thermal conductivity and processing in silica-filled compounds.
IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC is free-flowing with fast incorporation and good dispersion in the rubber mix.
Typical dosage guidance:
The product purity is suitable to meet stringent ecolabelling requirements for tires.
Handling, Storage and Packaging
The processing and use of IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC require adequate technical and professional knowledge. Please consult the safety data sheet and observe local safety regulations. The legal requirements prevailing in your country, especially in the avoidance of accidents, working hygiene and patent rights, must be observed.IsoQure® ZnO 30 CC should be stored in tightly sealed original containers in a cool and dry place. When properly stored it remains stable for an extended period; observe the indicated retest date on the product label.
