Application

IsoQure® ZnO Active 50 is a nano-scale active zinc oxide providing excellent dispersion in rubber compounds and in latex. In latex applications, the necessity for ball-milling is significantly reduced and in many cases eliminated. Due to its ultra-fine particle size, the level of ZnO in a rubber compound can be reduced by up to 50% without any sacrifice in vulcanisate properties.

IsoQure® ZnO Active 50 can be used for food contact rubber parts in accordance to FDA 177.2600; the heavy metal content is as low or lower than pharmaceutical grade zinc oxide.

Handling, Storage and Packaging

The processing and use of IsoQure® ZnO Active 50 requires adequate technical and professional knowledge. Please consult safety data sheet and observe local safety regulations. The legal requirements prevailing in your country, especially in the avoidance of accidents, working hygiene and patent rights must be observed.

IsoQure® ZnO Active 50 has to be stored in tightly sealed original containers in a cool and dry place. Properly stored it is stable for minimum two years.
