Applications
Isolan PSN is a general-purpose, very soft PUR dispersion. It is a co-solvent-free aliphatic polyether type polyurethane binder that exhibits: strong adhesion to natural and synthetic fabrics, PUR, and pretreated TPO; along with superior hydrolysis and wash resistance.
Isolan PSN is a low viscosity option and can be employed as a soft skin/binder for transfer-coating and direct-coating applications. It stands out as an exceptional adhesive for transfer-coating and serves as a basecoat for direct-coating applications. It is also suitable for impregnation and pile binding of fabrics and non-wovens.
Application methods encompass rotogravure, wire bar, dipping, rotary-screen, knife, or reverse roller-coater. Depending on the application method, there may be a need to adjust flow, wetting, defoaming, and rheology.
For enhanced resistance properties, crosslinkers can be added.
Storage
The optimum storage and handling temperature range is 5 °C to 30 °C. The product must be protected from heat and frost in order to maintain viability. Containers must not be re-stocked after they have been opened. Properly stored, Isolan PSN is stable for at least 12 months after the shipment has left our warehouse.
Packaging
Isolan PSN is available in IBCs (1000kg each) and drums (210kg each). MoQ are 2 pallets with 8 drums each or 1 IBC.
