Overview
Application
The amount of Isolan AST required with white pastes varies based on the charge quantity, fabric type, and fastness specifications. For charge amounts ranging from 20-40%, typically 30-50% of Isolan AST is used. To maximize the effectiveness of the synthetic thickeners, it's essential to adjust the pH to a range of 8-9.
To Isolan AST, add 1% polyacrylate dispersing agent and 0.5% non-ionic emulsifier. Following that, introduce the charges, stirring continuously to ensure their thorough integration. Then, incorporate the appropriate amount of thickener to obtain the desired viscosity.
To enhance the potency of Isolan AST, it's advisable to introduce Isobond DMP-40, a formaldehyde-free crosslinker. This agent facilitates a fixing process when used at a proportion of 1.5 to 5% of the overall bath or paste. Drying and curing temperatures span from 100°C to 170°C. The exact duration within the drying chamber determines the specific temperature, ensuring the finished garments exhibit optimal rubbing and washing fastness.
Storage
The optimum storage and handling temperature range is 5 °C to 30 °C. The product must be protected from heat and frost in order to maintain viability. Containers must not be re-stocked after they have been opened. Properly stored, Isolan AST is stable for at least 12 months after the shipment has left our warehouse.
Packaging
Isolan AST is available in IBCs (1000kg each) and drums (210kg each). MoQ are 2 pallets with 8 drums each or 1 IBC.
